Social media sites are a fantastic way for connections and friendships to flourish, but they can also be a space that encourages keyboard warriors and cyber-bullying.
With an increasing amount of users on social media, and a decreasing target market age, it is essential to educate our children about cyberbullying as well as face to face bullying.
Sally Phillips has been a police officer for 23 years and a mother for 12 years. Sally’s Bullying and Cuberbullying session will walk children through how to achieve a healthy online life, including knowing how to avoid the pitfalls of social media.
Giving children this knowledge will prevent them from being vulnerable while online, and give them the knowledge to use social media in the right way.
